Pickleball

Three weeks from first call to cameras rolling. Day one was a real pickleball court — natural light, real space, the grounded world before everything goes sideways. Day two, a cyc stage painted blue top to bottom, transformed into the fizzy dream world Designit had drawn up. Keeping both environments visually coherent meant production design had to carry serious weight. The standout piece: a custom berry-explosion rig our production designer built to spray blue juice the moment a talent took a bite from a 3D-printed berry. Practical effect, post-ready timing, one clean hit of blue joy. The floating berries came together in post through compositing, layered into the blue-world footage to fill out the realm without overcrowding the performance. Casting, location scouting, releases, crew — all of it fell under ILLUXION's roof from the jump. Designit brought the vision. We brought the machine.
